Support Your NEighbor COVID-19

We developed this organization to do our part by serving those at an increased risk in the Omaha community during this outbreak. We have created informative videos on how best to get essentials delivered to individual's homes. We also serve many in our community who are struggling financially during these unprecedented times. Many are at an increased risk but do not have the means to get the essentials they need. We have partnered with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul who gives us grocery bags that we deliver to the low-income high-risk population. We have also coordinated food drives and toiletry drives to serve the growing need for our delivery service. We also want to offer companionship and support during these times of physical distancing. We created a page compiling ideas and tips for successful physical distancing. Additionally, we formed a virtual companionship program to connect individuals. We have partnered with the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Our volunteers currently consist of first – fourth year College of Medicine students, physician assistant students, and friends and family members of our core team members.
