CDC Quarantine and Isolation Flow Chart

This flow chart simplifies the guidelines given by the CDC regarding COVID-19 quarantine and isolation criteria. It is often difficult for health care providers to explain these guidelines when counseling patients. Additionally, educating patients and increasing the understanding of the general public will decrease possible exposures to COVID-19. It is pertinent that patients understand these guidelines in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19. This was made by a first year medical student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in affiliation with the Kenan Rural Scholars program.
