Students and Faculty Perceptions Regarding Integration of Service-learning into the Dental School Curriculum

Description

Participation in service learning and outreach activities has the potential to increase the competence of dental students in all domains relevant to a beginning general dentist. Curricula at an increasing number of U.S. dental schools encourage or require student participation in community-based service learning experiences. This poster assesses student and faculty perceptions of the adoption of service learning into the dental school curriculum.
