Description
The IHI Open School’s multimedia online courses cover a range of topics in quality improvement, patient safety, system design, leadership, and population management. Through narrative, video, and interactive discussion, the courses offer a dynamic learning environment to inspire students and health professionals of all levels. Open School courses are broken into digestible, 15- to 40-minute lessons. The Curriculum Overview provides a complete listing of course titles, lesson titles, authors, and learning objectives.
Use our simple numbering system to find the right level of learning for you:
- 100-level courses = Introductory concepts for all health care audiences
- 200-level courses = Intermediate concepts and specialized topic areas
At the end of every lesson, you will need to pass a post-lesson assessment by scoring 75 percent or higher. You may continue to retake the lesson until you are satisfied with your score. Once you have completed all the lessons in a course, you will receive credit for the course upon submission of a short survey.
