Description
This is a small group discussion session meant to last 1 to 1.5 hours depending on discussion length and the facilitator. It is in two parts; the first part does a brief overview/timeline of the COVID-19 response of Italy, South Korea, United States with discussion questions designed to help students compare each country’s efforts and critically think about the lessons that could be learned from each. The second part is a series of ethical scenarios/dilemmas that have happened because of the pandemic, meant to foster further discussion.
