Using the Case-discussion Method to Teach Epidemiology and Biostatistics

Description

The authors describe use of case-discussion teaching of epidemiology and biostatistics to medical students in one academic medical center. Evaluation results demonstrated excellent student preparation and participation, and success in mastery of the material.
